Better we raise the skill, then lower the climb.

We care about all kids.

And we care about the parents and teachers of those kids.

Children with disabilities and their parents and teachers need some extra care, more considerate support, and intentional plans to raise the skills necessary to meet our current world with success.

To climb up that educational mountain, we can help. With over thirty-six years in public education, including directing an entire student services department for 1000 PreK-12 students with disabilities and collaborating with hundreds of parents, we can help raise the skills of the kids and their teachers to help reach that summit.

Everest Education Consulting is dedicated to helping students, their parents, and their school staff to build the skills to make that climb. Click below to learn more about how we can help.

  • Support at the meeting table and ensuring neutrality for situations that require mediation is an area of our expertise.

More about us.

Meet Jamie Bender, the founder of The Everest Group. She has spent most of her life helping others reach their highest potential, but she did not do it alone. She has been surrounded by incredible like-minded people who lift each other up to make the climb together. One of her earliest school memories was learning to read. People Need People was one of those basal readers (yes, she did learn to read using them in school) that was filled with stories that showed us just that. We need each other. Sometimes all it takes is a little help to reach the peak.

With thirty-six years in public education as a special education teacher, middle school science and writing teacher, IEP/PPT meeting chairperson, Director of Student Services and Special Education, and Assistant Superintendent, and Board of Education member, she brings valuable experience to supporting your needs.
